Spoilers, warning. And I mean… really BIG spoilers!!!~
How would you react if one day, coming back from school, you found a naked 12-year-old loli running in your house? Well, personally, I’d cry “THANK GOOOOOOOOOODDD!!!!! YOU HAVE GRANTED MY WISH!!!!”, but Kyousuke is not amused by this situation at all. Shocking as it is to find a girl naked in your house, he actually knew a guest would be staying - Ria Hagry, Kirino’s roommate in Los Angeles and the fastest primary school girl on Earth.
Once Kirino manages to catch Ria and makes her wear some clothes, Kyousuke, relieved, finds that Kirino’s behavior is that of a big sister, and she seems to be really fond of Ria – fortunately, since Kirino seems to be able to tell apart reality from fiction, so she doesn’t treat her as if she was a little sister from an eroge.
Ria, however, seems to have taken a liking to Kyousuke, keeping close to him and even trying to sneak while he’s taking a bath. Kirino, behaving like an overprotective sister, calls Kyousuke a lolicon -although he has done nothing!- and their relationship deteriorates somewhat. Meanwhile, he wonders why Ria likes him so much. Ever since Kyousuke started playing games he’s started to think in eroge terms, and wonders why Ria’s disposition level to him is maxed from the beginning!
Meanwhile, they take Ria to visit Tokyo… and of course Kirino wants to go to Akihabara first. In part, to show Ria the things she loves, the reason why she left the US. While visiting a building, they suddenly notice that the 12 year old is missing, so they split to search for her. Kyousuke finally spots her on the roof, but when he gets there she’s already gone – she’s not the fastest girl for nothing!
He finally sees her in a bookshop, and she seems to have given up, and he promises to buy her a book she has picked up… which turns out to be, as could be expected in Akihabara, a hentai manga. The girl starts crying after seeing something so “horrible”, just when Kirino arrives, and of course she’s really mad thinking Kyousuke is trying to make her beloved Ria read a hentai manga.
After this, they visit several places. It turns out that unlike Kirino, Ria only lives to run. She doesn’t have any hobbies. Also, unlike Kirino who has worked hard to be what she is, Ria has a natural gift. This is why they are different.
Finally, Ria reveals why she’s in Japan: to take revenge on Kirino, the only person who has ever beaten her in a race. They head for Kirino’s school. Ria has a better start than Kirino, and suddenly Kyousuke starts rooting for his sister… going as far as shouting “Kirino!!!! I’m not a lolicon!! I’m actually a siscon!!!!!”
Kirino starts catching up on her, but it’s too late. She’s been beaten by Ria, who, satisfied, decides to leave Japan that very day! Although she assures a sad and disappointed Kirino that apart from wanting to challenge her, she also wanted to see her.
However, just before leaving, Ria speaks to Kyousuke. Why did Kirino’s health deteriorate in L.A.? Kyousuke answers: because she didn’t have all the otaku stuff she loves. But Ria says it wasn’t like that. In fact, the real reason she came to Japan was to see him. Apparently Kirino was always speaking about him, and Ria thinks that the reason why Kirino’s health deteriorated so much in L.A. was because she couldn’t be with him. Thus, Ria thought that Kyousuke might have something special that made people run faster, so she wanted to meet him – which explains why she had taken a liking to him from the beginning.
Once Ria leaves, Kirino tells Kyousuke she wants to speak to him. Again another counseling session? Kirino denies it. It’s actually a request.

Impressions
I’ll write another post commenting on this (awesome?) development, so apart from it, I have to say volume 6 of Oreimo was great. So much happens in this volume, from mere comedy to more dramatic matters, and the cliffhanger is one of the best cliffhangers I’ve ever seen. I’m really looking forward to volume 7!! I want it to come out now!!!! More Oreimo!!!!!

Well, I’m not still too sure about Kirino! I mean, all things leading to the fact that she may actually be in love with him, maybe she’s like asking him to pretend to be her boyfriend or something. I’ll discuss that in another post
That’s true, I thought of that myself, to make the series extend… I mean, if not then the end would be near – but they haven’t resolved most of the love triangle stuffs… Also, it’s out of character of Kirino to just blurt things like that – unless she can’t hold it any longer. Any news of v7 release date?
Nope, I don’t know when v. 7 is being released. But so far one volume has been released every 4 months, so I guess we must wait until september.
And yes, I think it’s too early for the series to finish. I mean, only 7 voulmes for such a popular series, I think that at the very least, 10 volumes should be published. Many popular series continue for 15-20 volumes or so.
Wincest route…do I dare hope that they would go that direction? If so, I would like to say:

That’s true. I even wrote a post wondering what might happen in vol 7 after the cliffhanger, and one of my arguments was that it’s too soon for the novels to end, which is what would happen if Kyousuke and Kirino became lovers… unless the novel continues and it becoems epic!!

That I don’t know, but translating a light novel must take a lot of time. It’s not the same as writing a summary, where you can use your own words, ignore words and expressions that are difficult to translate, etc.

There’s something bothering me… Why didn’t she confess her love/feeling and instead immediately ask Kyousuke to be her boyfriend? Isn’t love confession an important moment in many romantic genre? I’m starting to get suspicious…
Well, it’s a cliffhanger so this is what we are supposed to do, suspect, wonder what will happen xD Now, it’s also true that it wouldn’t really be unlike Kirino to confess her love to Kyousuke in such a straightforward way, just “be my boyfriend”, since that seems to be her personality
On the official Dengeki Bunko (the publishers) website they have a brief excerpt that seems to hint that they are actually going out now, but that could also be suspicious. Well, volume 7 is coming out next month, we’ll have to wait until then!

I couldn’t wait another week for OreImo so I decided to finally give up and read the summaries here. Honestly man thank you ♥ I can’t believe how this story keeps getting better and better.
And …I know I’m meant to be weirded out since I’m a little sister in real life with a older bro…(Don’t mix 2D with 3D!), but honestly I can’t help but support the wincest route. It makes me very curious as to how the novel will take it since OreImo isn’t the typical angsty/drama type that you usually find with incest stories. Unless they take the easy way out and make them NOT siblings… but for some reason I think if they did that it’d kind of detract the impact of the story. Kind of like a deus ex machina.
Also I find it funny that there haven’t been any guy rivals… that might fit in perfectly for the next volume, but it might be a bit too predictable for OreImo.
I can’t wait till I get my Japanese skills up to par so I can at least read visual novels/manga. I’d love to buy OreImo..do they even do english versions of visual novels? :\

Yes, oreimo is very remarkable for not being angsty, which probably rules out any overblown drama regarding Kyousuke and Kirino, whatever happens between them

En principio bueno, en el episodio 4 del anime ni siqueira omitieron la escena donde se le ve a Kirino en ropa interior, asi que yo me imagino que no omitiran nada de eso. Otra cosa es que esat temporada (espero que haya una segunda) del anime llegue tan lejos. Lo del Love Hotel seguro, deberia ser en el episodio 6 o por ahi, pero lo de Kuroneko y el beso (que me parece una de las escenas mas geniales) no se si llegara o habra que esperar a la mas que posible segunda temporada, simplemente juzgando por la popularidad que tiene

Nothing is said in the novels, but it’s hinted that something happened. My own theory is that for some reason, and maybe because of some feelings, whether just siscon or also jealousy because Kirino was such an overachiever, Kyousuke started to distance himself from Kirino.
AS you can see, he’s always telling us that he hates Kirino and Kiriono hates him, and yet we find out that Kirino has been very happy, always talking about her brother, ever since their relationship started to get better, so this might mean that Kyousuke is actually the one to blame here.

yeah I think thats it because Kirino is almost perfect Kyousuke distant his self in his imouto and got little jealous on what Kirino achieved. So me too I think Kyou is the one to blame why there relationship is cold and Kirino wants affection in his brother so thats why she begins to love little sisters games and eroge because she wants to see a good relationship between siblings that she didnt experience in her onii-chan. I think Kirino is a brocon too but because of her pride she can’t do what she really want. In my opinion Kirino wants to have good relation with her onii-chan but she didn’t know how and when she got a chance to be close to Kyou she did not let go of that chance. Now that there relation have been good she cant hide her feelings anymore and ask Kyou to be her lover. Hopefully the lover thing is real and not pretending only or Kirino just fooling her onii-chan like she did in earlier part of the story when she said she truly love him and then burst in to laughter. If they really become lovers then its not the end of the story because they will face some problems and obstacle of their forbidden relationship. But I really want incest ending, maybe they can run away and continue their relationship (lol) or they can fight for it hehe. I dont want an ending where they will found out that they are not biological siblings. hahahahahaha

Well man, that’s what the most of us want, but the ending will be most likely with the not-biological crap. Even though the two of them have already shown their feelings for each other in their own way (well actually Kyousuke yelled he was a siscon xD), there are two possibilities:
1. The two of them start dating and doing all the lovers use to do >_> and will fight against the society for their love.
2. After they convey their own feelings for each other, they will agree to try to forget about them and will try to make their lives with some other persons (maybe Kyousuke root for Kuroneko or his osananajimi), and Kirino I don’t know xD
Ok, the second one might be what the one the autor would choose because he is a moron and doesn’t want to get involved in social matters nor any other things like that.
I don’t know guys, let us all hope that the miracle of the option one becomes a reality, and we get to see this great couple together!!

I think those lines are going to be in the opening chapter of the novels. With Kyou and Kiririn already together as a couple and “seeing each other” for quite some time; then followed with Kyousuke explaining how they got to that situation and how he had come to terms with it. I expect Kyousuke’s going to be more than a little confused with Kirino’s sudden “confession” and may need some time to think about things.

I’ve always been for an incest ending, because of the incest, but I admit that Kuroneko is probably my favorite character, because I can relate to her alone. So I’m not that much against this.
What I’m disliking is not the possible Kyousuke x Kuroneko ending, but the events in the noel, which sound too lousy. Check that link where I comment on it

I wouldn’t mind if Kyousuke starts a relationship with Kuroneko, as long as he doesn’t see her like some kind of replacement for Kirino; I mean, we all know by now that he loves his sister, despite him saying he hates her and all that crap (NO ONE ACTUALLY BELIEVES THAT!!)
If what the spoilers say, that is just a fake relationship (the boyfriend thing, that is) then it would be a little bold and sad, don’t you think?

Gracias por los resumenes! Hace unos dos meses comencé a leer el manga pero solo hasta el cap 18, luego el anime que esta genial y la curiosidad fue tanta que termine buscando lo que había de OreImo en la red. Hace poco compre algunas de las novelas de Suzumiya Haruhi y me gusta la narración que hace el personaje de Kyon, al igual que en esta serie lo hace Kyousuke.
Lástima que el anime no pueda mostrar muchos detalles como la novela, asi se entenderían un poco mejor algunas situaciones que se presentan más adelante.
Estoy ansioso por que consigas el 7 volumen XDD. Ese final del vol. 6 me esta haciendo perder la cabeza XDD.
En cambio Haruhi si que retuvo muchos de los monologos de Kyon, y en el CD Drama de Oreimo tambien Kyousuke proporcionaba la narracion. Es una lastima.
Sobre el vol 7 pues en cuando lo reciba. Encargado esta, pero aun no me lo han mandado.
Que tal, ahora acabo de conseguir todos los volumenes del OreImo hasta el 7, estan escaneados y cada imagen y página están en formato jpg, creo que no hace falta decir que están en japo
, bueno, ahora a practicar lo poco o nada que se de japonés para entenderlas.

Bueno, la verdad es que estoy deseando que salga ya, aunque supongo que habrá salido en Japón.Que envidia me das Sergio que conozcas el japonés y puedas leer y entender perfectamente la novela.

Oh, and BTW:
- Kirino asked Kyousuke to be her boyfriend in order to deceive some hot guy who’s trying to hit on Kirino.
- While on their pretend date, Kirino’s otaku friends found out, Kuroneko took the whole thing seriously.
- They later cleared up the misunderstanding, everyone made up with each other.
- Kuroneko was provoked by Kirino’s actions. She went straight up to Kyousuke and confessed.
- After a few days, Kyousuke accepted said confession.
- Kirino’s self-destructive actions ended up being Kuroneko’s victory.

Is this Kuroneko’s victory, however? I don’t know, what does Kyousuke truly feel? Until I read the novel, I cannot say anything.
Well, that’s what the site said, the “Kuroneko’s victory”, that is, so I really don’t know more than some of people around here xD
Anyway, as you say, it’s better to wait for the novel itself ^^
It also depends on who’s writing it. I mean, the advantage is that I write pretty objectives summaries and then give my opinion. Of course, even if I really like Kuroneko, I want an incest ending, so I’m going to always try to interpret it in that direction.
But if we have no summaries or anything objective, what a person who doesn’t want the incest ending says is as biased as my own interpretations!
Hahahaha, don’t worry bro, I’m totally with you with the incest ending, so all my banzais are for you xD
So yeah, maybe the guy/gal who wrote that “summary” was basing it in his/her own opinion (you should know what the society think about the incest <_<).
So what the hell!! I still think your summaries are far better than any other that I have seen, because they use to criticize the way the author makes Kirino and Kyousuke react to each other (if you get what I mean *¬*) and they just root for an osananajimi or Kuroneko ending, NEVER Kirino T_T

wa = topic particle
koibito = lover
ni = particle it means “into”
natta = became
