Perrine wants to build a bridge in her native Galia so that kids can go to the newly rebuilt school, but she needs money. The answer seems to be the treasure chest that Lucchini recovers, but it’s empty… except for a map. The map leads them to an ancient underground base built by witches, and after escaping from several traps and some drunken antics, the treasure turns out not to be in gold or riches, but a beautiful chamber. However, Perrine learns that the kids rebuilt the bridge by working together, which deeply moves her.
No wonder a sizable majority of people voted for tsunderes in my poll, because they are so adorable. You know, I think that in the end we fans of shows like Strike Witches like friendship and goodwill, and tsunderes are perfect. We can see that Perrine has such a heart of gold, going to such lengths for the sake of the kids, and yet she often seems aloof, which highlights what a kind person she is.
The “treasure”, that is, a chamber with a beautiful garden, reminded me a lot of Aria, and that’s always a good thing — but… why the hell did they protect the garden with some kind of golem?! In the end, a drunken Mio tells Perrine that what matters the most is her strong feelings of love for Galia, something that would have surely prompted our beloved Aika-chan to say her motto “hazukashii serifu kinshi! – embarrassing remarks are not allowed!”
And speaking of a drunken Mio (a nice trap set by those ancient witches!)… that was awesome! Damn I was laughing all the time, with poor Yoshika and co. thinking it was a vengeful spirit. And wow, Minna thinking about that kiss on the beach… faito, Minna!
Apart from that, some very nice fanservice. After shooting down a plane-shaped neuroi, with an especially fired-up Perrine, they are going to train at the beach and that means… swimsuits! Lots of them, so let’s enjoy it:
Of course, we also got some moe moe scenes:
All in all a pretty nice episode, with some funny antics, hot fanservice, and Perrine’s story which was pretty adorable.

Comedy episode, beyond my expectation.
mmm… I wanted to see main plot (*_*)
There are only 3 or 4 episodes in this season.
Can they make some mystery evident?
What’s the identity of neuroi?
Does Miyafuji’s father live?
What does Miyafuji think about how to communicate with neuroi?
But, it’s the fact that this episode has much scene which give my eyes happiness !LOL
I’d also like to know the answer, but well, I guess neuroi and stuff are just an excuse to show hot young girls shooting guns xD
“bloods fires out of kgods’ nose” I’ve been behind on my favourite show of the season thanks to college. I’ll try to catch up over this weekend. I know I won’t be disappointed thanks to these reviews. The power of yuri compels you.
In fact it looks the the Yuri has been increased in recent eps!
This episode was good thanks to some terrific scenes, like drunk Mio smooching Minna, Lucchini and Shirley mimicking Perrine,.. XD
What I loved is that after the kiss Minna was sitting, deep in thought, on the beach xD I wonder what’s going through her mind!
