Since we could all know what was going to happen in this episode just by reading any synopsis of the show, I was expecting not to like this episode given my strong dislike of drama, and how much certain shows like devoting time to drama even if they are comedies just because some people perceive that to be “deep” (whatever that means) but this necessary plot element only took up around 4 minutes (no matter what their stupid adult relatives say, we know they’ll live with Yuuta) and they didn’t show the moments that could have been more dramatic (like the girls learning of their parents’ death) so it turned out all fine, and now we’re set for the good stuff.
By the way, the first obvious detail is the fact that only Hina is blood-related to Yuuta. Since Hina is, for obvious reasons, out of limits even in a show with lolicon undertones, she’s officially declared to be his relative, but the same does not apply to Miu and Sora, that is to say Sora already is, and Miu can easily enter the contest for Yuuta’s love, being already old enough (in 2D terms, of course!), and it’s of course no coincidence she reminds me a lot of Kokonoe Rin: she seems to be very precocious and is voiced by Kitamura Eri. She’s even the same age as the main character in Kodomo No Jikan! And being so mature for her age, she’s totally aware of Sora’s feelings for Yuuta, and honestly here we have a young cute tsundere ready to bloom now that they will be living together with their uncle… or their daddy~

Yuuta was one lucky shota!!! And if his oneechan stayed by his side when their parents die, it's nice he decides to stay by his oneechan's daughters~ It's basically the same theme as in Mayoi Neko Overrun. Heart-warming themes but which don't get so dramatic as to get in the way of comedy antics
Of course, with fanservice devoted for now to Sora, the hngggggggg moments come from the totally adorable Hina, while Yuuta’s sempai Oda and Sora’s rival (maybe in the future Miu’s rival) didn’t appear in this episode, which is a pity (“yo yo yo~”, sob sob sob). Of course this early in the series I can’t really give an opinion about the show. The story begins now, so if they keep up the romantic comedy dynamics and add some spice (I’m thinking of some rivalry between Oda and Sora, for example) as well as fanservice and things like that, I think it’s going to be a good ride. If it’s any indication, the author Tomohiro Matsu also wrote the still remembered Mayoi Neko Overrun, so I have high expectations.

It’s a good thing that Hina was kept out of the whole love, ecchi element, partly because she is meant to be 3 years old and also because thats just wrong. For now it looks like quite a nice story about what it means to be a family, with some fanservice thrown in with comedy and a pretty bizarre love triangle (square?). I will have to see where it goes from here though before I pass judgement.
Well not even me would want to see Hina-chan as part of the harem xD Other than some cute and innocent “I’m daddy’s bride~~”!!
“The good stuff” meaning fanservice. Admit it, you’re only watching it for the fanservice!
Anyway, the story is really great and heart-warming, adding some ecchi we have a nice combination! This might actually turn up pretty good! :O
Of course I want fanservice. Hell, it has middle school girls! I love them!
Um, question. Did this series start off as a light novel or as a manga?
The original source material is light novel. But I only read the manga, so the anime start different compared to the manga, the main manga that is (since the manga has 5 or so spin-offs).
The *main* manga immediately deals when Yuuta had to babysit the girls when Yuri and her husband already went to their trip, so Yuuta didn’t meet Yuri or her husband like episode 2 here.
Oh. Ok. Thanks!
la última parece una imagen de momo, de to love ru, ponle el pelo rosa jeje.
