That dress, simple and pure. Perfect to make Rihocchi even cuter!

Lolol, what’s with Amagami SS+ and NTR (netorare, basically stories where the girl is taken by another guy, or vice versa)? Second arc in a row where, of course in a light way, NTR undertones are present! Well, I’m positive this will finally cause Junichi to act (provided he didn’t get to hear Rihoko’s confession about who she likes –in that case problem solved already without any jealousy conflict— to that idiot who tried to hit on her), because I’m honestly not willing to see Rihoko’s mini-arc finish without her and Junichi becoming a couple. If that happened… well, it’d be something to make me rage.

It’s always a nice sensation when you re-encounter an anime you liked, especially when it’s a second season. Hearing the background music again, seeing the heroes and heroines again, that’s pretty nice. It may not look like it but it’s been already a year since the first season, although in my case, thanks to the drama CDs which I’ve listened to regularly (I listen to all my Drama CDs in shuffle mode on my iPod), Amagami has been really present.

Amagami SS—Miya

Now, look at Miya's expressions. So cute and attractive. From the very beginning, the girls in Amagami have always had really seductive gazes. Kudos to the character designs

Now, nice OVA, I was thinking just how much Miya’s charm owes to the fact that she’s voiced by Asumi Kana, who does an awesome job. I became a fan of hers after Amagami and, when paying attention to other roles such as Yuno in Hidamari, Yukari in Sekirei, Ran in Shugo Chara, Mikoto in Kämpfer or Popura in Working, she really became one of my favorite seiyuus. I really like her upbeat and playful voice!

I intended to write the second part of my “Top 2010 anime” but Chison suggested doing something more interesting on the forums: a New Years countdown. In principle it’s something you were supposed to do during the last 10 days of the year, but since I already wrote my #10-#6 ranking, I’m joining the initiative now. By the way, you will have noticed I haven’t updated the blog as often as I usually do. I’m terribly sorry but last week was a very busy week for me. Things will be back to normal now.

Kamisaki Risa has always been watching Junichi. Always. At all times. And of course, it was her duty to make sure that all the evil succubi who attempted to snatch him away (including the famous girl who stood him up… for a reason) And not being able hold it any longer, she confesses to him, and he accepts. But as the founder’s festival approaches, it becomes clear she doesn’t want to be seen with him, since she scared away all the girls. But he accepts her strong feelings, and they become a happy couple.

The festival runs smoothly, but Junichi is worried about Ayatsuji’s sudden change in personality. She denies having double personality, and after Junichi embraces her and tells her he likes all the Ayatsuji’s… including the aggressive one, she breaks down in tears—it was all an act because she thought he didn’t like her real self. She also mentions the fact that finding out that Santa doesn’t exist (sorry kids for spilling the beans) was a traumatic experience and she’s always wanted to become Santa herself, making people happy. Ten years later, they are a happy couple with a very cute daughter.

Being behind schedule, Ayatsuji and Junichi decide to get some classmates to help, but soon it leads to rumors and frictions, until Ayatsuji explodes in front of everyone. Later, as she burns her notebook, she confesses to Junichi, and they kiss. However, the girls she had trouble with stop helping, which endangers the preparations for the festival, so Ayatsuji goes as far as to humbly apologize to them. The proud Ayatsuji, humble? To Junichi’s absolute astonishment, she claims to be a different girl to the one who slapped him the night before.

“Ayatsuji-san is a great person and has nothing to hide” And she’s probably a great girl, but Junichi gets to know that she’s far from being just a serious, dependable, nice class rep. And what was written on that notebook? And is there anything wrong with her sister? The only thing we know for sure is that she’s starting to like him.

Last year, Junichi missed out on the Founder’s Festival so this year he volunteers to help Ayatsuji Tsukasa who is in charge of the preparations. Everything seems to be going relatively smoothly with the dependable Ayatsuji. But when they meet her sister Yukari, she is cold towards her, and the following day, when Junichi finds and reads her notebook, which she had dropped, she suddenly grabs him by the tie.
