Well, pretty much as I thought, Leo saw in her visions that the weapons that would kill Shinku and her dear friend, the princess, were indeed Biscotti’s heirloom weapons. They clarified things a little: prophecies aren’t that trustworthy in this world (I thought they were way more important) and Leo couldn’t warn them or things would get worse.

However, her plan to steal the ring fails, as the one who found int he castle was the loli doggy scientist that was there using some kind of kagebunshin instead of Biscotti, and Leo’s ninjas were easily defeated by the (awesome?) maid corps who offered them some tea afterwards~

Whenever we encounter the theme of trying to avoid a seemingly unavoidable destiny, I always get the uncomfortable feeling that trying to do something about it is what might lead to it, while not doing something about it might just lead straight into it.

Leo’s plan seems to be simple: win and make sure Biscotti and Shinku don’t have any dangerous weapons (the rings passed down by her lineage) until the time of the prophecy passes without anything happening. Yet, Biscotti and Shinku could well win and Leo’s weapons might be the ones to cause the tragedy.

We take a break from all the athletic competitions wars to focus on love a little, and that’s always sweet.

First of all, the sweet, the tsundere green-haired Eclair. Even her father has given her marriage with Shinku the thumbs up. But seeing her cute, tsundere reactions oh god, so cute.

I keep liking this series, but episode five was a little bland, especially since I think that when it works at its best is when there are romcom elements, especially between Shinku and Eclair, and also when we get to see more of the really smoking hot Leon, my favorite character of the show!
