When considering the Fall 2011 season, I always think about the big hits like Haganai, but Ika Musume is always there to make me have a good time. Did you see in part two how Ika Musume lost her memories and reacted to Eiko like a scared cat? Now did you see in part three what Ika Musume’s “Invasion Club” turned into? That’s what makes Ika Musume a great character. Her animal-like reactions, more like a cat than a squid –now that I think about it, how does a squid behave anyway?! Never kept one!! – and her childish behavior even if she pretends to be something big like a terrible invader. That makes her so adorable, and so funny!
