I’ve already watched around let’s say 200 anime series, so I pretty much know what you can expect when your anime needs some action. Sometimes you have an evil enemy (evil as an almost universal meaning, as a concept, you know, there’s the evil guy/organization and you don’t really care much about their motives), sometimes you have something more… exotic like Dog Days. Sometimes there’s a combat butler who has to protect his ojousama. I’m fine with that, hell I’m even fine with stuff like Code Geass, with that futuristic, yet in some way almost medieval setting (as in, you know, the way there are knights and peerage and stuff). Yeah I take all that “oh I’m a rebel” stuff as almost a joke, because I don’t care about that, but the characters are just too awesome and interesting. Like CC. And CC. So yeah I’m fine with even Code Geass. Not with Suzaku, but that’s another story.
