“Seitokai no Ichizon” – Volume 3

Seitokai no Sanshin (Third strike) is the third volume of the Seitokai no Ichizon series. I really enjoyed it. The style is the same as its predecessors: unpretentious comedy mainly about otaku themes, lots of references, and quirky characters and situations. In some sense, it does remind me a little of Zetsubou Sensei, at least in its format, and both works benefit from this: each chapter being self-contained, devoted to one topic, means there is no need to keep a plot going, so it takes more for jokes to get thin, while the topics that can be covered (or satirized) are wider.
