To Love-Ru Darkness Ch4
The awesome To Love-Ru spin-off continues to deliver one of the best harem stories and, although it’s clear there could have been more fanservice in this chapter, the art is still top-notch. And I say one of the best harem stories because although harem is so usual in anime (sadly, haters will say), the truth is that it’s not so common for a character, and a female to make it even better, to actively strive for a harem, except for, perhaps, the parody series of light novels Seitokai no Ichizon. Momo is not the Goddess of Harem for no reason: this time she has set her sights on Kotegawa Yui and after a few tricks, such as faking a sudden storm, she makes Yui go to Rito’s house. Just how selfless, how awesome, Momo is. She wants Rito to man up and start building a harem and she doesn’t mind if he has sex with Yui first. Momo knows very well that once Rito is a real man, worthy of the title of Prince of Deviluke, he will give all of the girls, including her, the love they need.

The third chapter of my favorite manga, To Love-Ru Darkness is out.
With the revelation that Mea’s master wants to bring Yami back and is opposed to harem, it is clear now that this awesome spin-off is going to revolve around the idea of harem. This is the kind of innovation I like. Very small, nothing artistry or radical, yet adding something new. Because a harem is nothing fresh, but a story where one of the heroines wants to build a harem for the main character is, as far as I know, completely new (unless it happens in some eroge)

When did To Love-Ru get this awesome? I think the answer is… ever since it became Darkness! As you know, I’m a staunch supporter of harem. Why choose a particular girl, when you can have them all. There’s no nobler cause than this. However, most harem shows only toy with the idea, and I’ve never seen a character, and especially a female character, that seriously wanted to build a harem. Yes, we have Sugisaki Ken from Seitokai No Ichizon, but that’s different. Momo is for real. She wants to build a harem for Rito, with all the To Love-Ru girls, even with a “reformed” Yami.
Nana to Kaoru OVA announced
Volume 6 of the Nana to Kaoru manga will include an OVA. For those who don’t know about Nana to Kaoru, it’s a (pretty perverted) manga about a boy called Kaoru, who has a bondage fetish, and his osananajimi Nana who starts asking him to practice SM with her as a way of blowing off steam. Although it’s a word that, as you know, I don’t like using, Nana to Kaoru is remarkable for offering a pretty realistic portrayal of bondage. It explores why Nana feels such a thrill when she feels powerless and how much she trusts Kaoru, and it also explores lots of play and situations and bondage toys. Of course, not perverted people will probably get scared!

It’s been announced that “Oniichan no koto nanka zenzen suki ja nainda kara ne” (“I don’t like my brother at all!”) is going to get a TV anime version. I don’t know if many of you are familiar with this manga, but it’s a really hilarious incestuous comedy about a brother and a sister, with lots of really perverted jokes.
