Do you have references to this thesis?
It might have slipped through my fingers. I mean the part where he didn’t see Kirino as his sister.

But if siblings or not, I currently don’t see them ending up together unless they drop their denial towards their feelings. Yet after 10 novels both still seem to be pretty dense.
All I can hope for is that the Kyousuke’s relationships with the other girls will show him that Kirino is the “one” for him. For the development on Kirino’s part I have no idea. Kuroneko could help or Saori, since the other girls don’t seem to like to share Kyousuke with any other girl, and for the Saoiri part I’m not even sure how her feelings towards Kyousuke are.

Which might also explain why, if they do enter into a relationship, it’s possible for a guy like Kyousuke to fall for Kirino…he never felt fully part of the family anyway, so he saw Kirino more as a girl he was living with than his sister.

Sooo excited for the new season. I plan on buying everything I can of Oreimo in the short term to show support. i swear the more I get into this show the more I feel like Kirino with how obsessed I’m getting.

The manga is very good and the anime adaptation is definitely one of the better ones. I really enjoy both anime and manga and you should def pick up the manga after the anime if you have the time (probably not though with all the other stuff you got going on haha) Anyways, keep up the good work

My first taste of this series was the anime and I thought from the first episode they would play the not blood related card. There is the whole question about the lack of childhood photos, the difference of appearances, and how Kyousuke always seems sensative when people start to talk about how they don’t look a like. I suspect they are not blood related and that he either is the one that knows it or at least suspects it.

I was sure you were going to enjoy this, not many girls are as forward as Yuuko, and her reactions are always great.

Too bad that Niiya is a little bit too self conscious of being seen playing around with an invisible person.

We had that “Kirino – Ayase – switched at birth in the hospital” discussion on the old forums if I remember correctly.
It is possible, so far I’ve got no evidence to the contrary but also no evidence to support this theory. We can only work with the information Fushimi gives us through his novels/anime and he uses to give us only so much to leave a vast number of possibilities.

Ayase will be very dangerous for a 2K or even 3K ending. She is an adorable character and Kyousuke found her to be attractive from the fist moment he saw her.

I’m starting to think it possible too, and unlike before I’m not as against it anymore. It’s becoming a very real possibility and if it opens up a KyouXKiri ending then so be it.

And speaking of blood-relations, conversely, though I have no real proof, who else here is getting the feeling that Kyousuke and AYASE might be related?
